Why doesn’t Evolution prove Atheism?

Atheism represents a scarce resource of critical thinkingEvolution is the advancement of species over time.

Superficially, Evolution appears to be in violation of the Law of Entropy. Upon closer examination, Evolution might attribute progress to heat from the Earth’s core, or to heat from the Sun by the mechanism of photosynthesis.

However, that is a law of physics, and does not bear on theology. The reason that Evolution does not rule out all possible deity is argued from Deism. A Deist deity might account for evolution, just as much as physics or biology. It amounts to an alternative hypothesis.

It is fashionable, academically, to argue Evolution is fact. There are those who still argue that Evolution is only theory, usually to accommodate religious beliefs. Religion is not science, because it cannot be tested in a lab by repeatable experiment. The relevant criticism of Evolution is that, while it might have occurred, any experiment designed to duplicate the result is not repeatable, based on time constraints.

The foundation of science is repeatable experiment.
